Taylor Swift fans lash out at fierce criticism of Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift fans rushed to the defense of Travis Kelce after an NFL analyst slammed the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end following his poor start to the 2024/25 season in his quest to become a four-time Super Bowl champion.
Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 22-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 22 but it was another poor showing from Kelce, who only had four catches at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Whilst it is possible that at the age of almost 35, Kelce has hit the age barrier and won’t be capable of his impressive stat lines from previous seasons, he has also been firmly covered out of games.
This is something even Mahomes has pointed out and said that it’s on the Chiefs to get Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy more involved to take some pressure off the tight end so that he can thrive again.
And Swifties in particular rubbished the suggestion that he’s too distracted off the field, a criticism made against him since he began dating the Eras Tour despite winning Super Bowl LVIII.
