Taylor Swift facing crisis after Brittany Mahomes endorses Trump
Taylor Swift is facing a new crisis after new best friend Brittany Mahomes confirmed she would be supporting Donald Trump in the upcoming US election.
The 34-year-old is well-known for her political beliefs, and has publicly endorsed Democratic candidates over the years, including Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020. Taylor’s support of presidential candidates is seen as a huge boost by Democrats, as many believe her loyal – and massive, fanbase will head to the polls to throw their support behind the singer’s favoured politician.
However, her new friendship with Brittany is now under threat, as it emerged the 29-year-old appeared to endorse Taylor’s sworn enemy in the upcoming US election. The Cruel Summer hitmaker became close with Brittany, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28, when she started dating Travis Kelce last year. The women were pictured hugging and laughing while watching the games, and even turned up to Chiefs’ games wearing match outfits as they cheered on the team.
