Piers previously welcomed on board GMB’s former series director Erron after he announced that he was joining the Life Stories host at NewsUK.

“I’ve had an amazing time working with a brilliant team in front of and behind the camera and I am so proud of the programme I helped launch in 2014.

Last year, Piers announced that he is set to make his comeback at News Uk following his exit from GMB.
He wrote: “I’m thrilled to be returning to News Corp. which is where I began my media career more than 30 years ago.

“Rupert Murdoch has been a constant and fearless champion of free speech and we are going to be building something new and very exciting together.

He went on: “I want my global show to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews, and a place that celebrates the right of everyone to have an opinion, and for those opinions to be vigorously examined and challenged.”
