Patrick Mahomes’ opinion on Taylor Swift’s ‘Distraction’ to Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes isn’t worried about the extra attention his teammate’s famous girlfriend might bring to the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes opened up on Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift, saying in a soon-to-be-released documentary that the All-Pro tight end can handle it just fine.
The relationship between Kelce and Swift has brought a surge of attention to the team, with cameras often showing the singer at games and celebrity media outlets following their relationship.
When asked about the allegations that Swift is a distraction to Kelce and the rest of the team, Mahomes pushed back on the idea. “People act like it was a distraction… I was like no this is just Travis man,’ Mahomes said via a medium.
Mahomes did admit that Swift brought more attention to Kelce and, by extension, the rest of the team, but had a four-word response to the idea that it’s been a distraction.
