British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu has revealed the essential items she carries with her at all times.

Since winning the US Open, the teenager has signed a number of lucrative endorsement deals –– one of which has seen her become a new brand ambassador for Dior.

In an interview with the French luxury fashion house, Raducanu discusses what’s inside her ‘Lady Dior’ bag on a daily basis.

While the Brit stormed to glory in New York last September to claim her maiden Grand Slam title, Raducanu confessed the only silverware she carried around with her was from her junior days.

Pulling out a medal with a red ribbon on it, she said: “It’s [a medal] from one of the first tournaments that I won.

“I think it’s really, really special to carry this with me, almost like a good luck charm. I think the big one from the US Open maybe wouldn’t fit in here.”

Aside from this, the world number 13 also stressed that she always carries around a disposable camera with her for memories. The 19-year-old has more than two million followers on Instagram now, making her one of the most followed tennis stars on the planet.

“The first thing I always take with me is this [a disposable camera.] It captures some really cool moments.”

It’s clear that the British number one always has tennis on her mind as she admitted she carries around a ball wherever she goes.

“I always take a ball. I carry this because I practise my ball toss everywhere I go. This is for you coach,” she joked.

“Another thing I like to carry with me is [new tennis balls.] People might think we’re freaks but the smell is the most satisfying thing ever.”

One of the more unexpected items in Raducanu’s bag was an assortment of mints. The reigning Sports Personality of the Year winner explained how she’d become well-known for taking mints at Flushing Meadows and ended up somewhat addicted.

“It started in New York at the US Open,” she said. “I became notorious for stealing all the mints.

“Every time I walked past, I’d grab a handful and yeah, it kind of became a bit of an obsession.”

Raducanu is next scheduled to play at the Abierto Akron Zapopan in Guadalajara, where she will be the top-seeded player in the draw.
