Anna Kendrick shows off ‘growth’ in thigh-skimming minidress.

Anna Kendrick is proud to have grown “10 inches” over quarantine, and her super-leggy glitter mini dress was the perfect look to deliver the message.

The 36-year-old Pitch Perfect actress, whose sense of humor is half the appeal on her Instagram, has been joking about her lock-down gains, with a recent photo bringing a particularly eye-catching display.

Posting indoors and in a stunning little dress, the actress delighted her 18.3 million followers – particularly since updates from Anna are pretty infrequent.

Scroll for the photo, one that comes as Anna opens up on her quarantine habits, including her health and fitness. The star, who is only 5’2 and has said that wearing high heels makes no difference to her height, proved just how tall she can look with a pair on.

The snap showed Anna backed by a white wall as she modeled a gorgeous patterned dress in white, tan, and black, one affording a slight 1920s’ flapper girl feel and coming with elegant black detailing on each shoulder.

Finishing the simple look was a pair of strappy, platform, and super-high black heels, ones elongating Kendrick’s legs as she also went high up top with a messy bun. The caption, meanwhile, took care of the humor side of things as Anna wrote:

“I’m pleased to announce that during quarantine I grew ten inches and am now officially A Tall™️. (It’s not the camera angle or the shoes. I will not be taking questions.) Sincerely, A Tall.”

Fans loved everything about it, throwing Anna over 760,000 likes and telling her she’s a total star. While one user did write “please eat,” the majority of replies sent the thumbs-up – many came as fire emoji.

Anna, whose figure remains a topic of envy, has also been opening up on how she keeps her muscles in tip-top shape – turns out it’s varied stuff.

Every time I try something new, I’m like, I found it! I found the only workout I’ll ever need! Then I get so obsessed with it that I burn out and have to start over with something new,” she told Shape in 2020, adding: “I went through phases of yoga, Pilates, barre classes, and running.

The only thing I’ve never tried, because I know I would be bad at it, is workouts where they yell at you: ‘Come on! Get those knees up!”

Anna has since wowed at the BAFTAS – no minidress, but a billowing pleated gown that blew right up as she posed for a Good Morning BAFTA photo.
